Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: we take all of our photos in intimate, relaxed settings and try to use natural lighting as often as possible. our sessions are candid & fun!
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: yes! upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: most of our wedding collections come with one photographer, although you can always add on a second photographer for an additional cost.
Q: WILL WE GET FEATURED IN A MAGAZINE OR BLOG?
A: although many of our sessions do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. most publishers are interested in colorful, uniquely designed weddings!
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
A: of course! depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?
A: we sure do! from wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you!
What does the starting cost include?
Most options listed here include custom hand lettering (if applicable), design, printing and plain envelopes. You can add additional items such as envelope addressing, maps and accommodation cards when filling out the form in your desired suite.
Can I change the color on the invitations you have listed in your shop?
Yes! All color on lettering and text is customizable. Illustrations are fixed and cannot be changed. If there are any additional fees for a color change, they will be clearly explained in the invitation listings.
Will I see a proof of my invitation?
Of course! The information (how many rounds, timing, etc.) will be provided in the pdf we send after your initial inquiry. We only provide a digital proof and are not able to provide hard copies at this time. However, we have sample packs that you can purchase to see different paper types, printing types and envelopes.
Do you have different lettering styles?
We currently switch between 2 styles for hand lettering on the semi-custom suites and envelopes. When purchasing a semi-custom listing, the hand lettering will be created in the same style you see in the images.
How does printing work?
In the Semi-Custom Suite listings, you will see pricing that includes standard CMYK Printing, letterpress or foil on either smooth or textured paper. Please read the description as that will outline all details on how that specific suite will be printed.
For Custom suites, we offer almost all types of printing and will prepare a custom quote after we have enough information from you about your design.
Do you hand letter every single invitation?
No, your details are lettered and illustrated several times. Once we finalize (internally) the best option for your suite, it is turned into a digital file and laid out in our design program. This way we can easily update colors, font sizes, placement, etc. Once approved, we send this to print.
Only items including variable data like outer envelopes and place cards are hand lettered individually.
Do you offer envelope printing?
We offer return address printing as well as printing of your RSVP envelopes. We do not currently print guest addresses on the outer envelopes but do offer hand lettering for that option.
How long does this process take?
Lead-times for suites will vary greatly depending on the amount of hand lettering, your quantity, the printing method and if you have added on envelope addressing. For a standard digitally printed suite, you can expect a lead-time of 4-5 weeks. For something more complicated, letterpress for example, lead-times range at about 8-10 weeks.
Can I rush my order?
Please email us first, in some cases rush orders can be accommodated for an additional 25%.
Are envelopes included?
Yes! All pricing in our semi-custom listings includes blank outer and reply envelopes. You can add guest addressing, return address printing and reply envelope printing for an additional cost.
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: yes! we love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting weddings. send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: we highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. the difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: we use all of the latest canon equipment. we always carry the 5d mark iii, the mark ii, 50 mm lens, 24-105 mm lens, & the 400 mm lens, among other items. all of our cameras and lenses have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of our pieces.
Q: ARE THE COUPLES ON YOUR SITE MODELS?
A: haha! while we are lucky enough to work with gorgeous couples, the images shown on our site and blog are of regular, paying clients.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: a 50% deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. two weeks prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.
